chocookie4I had the pleasure of spending the past Christmas holidays with my brother and his family in South Dakota.  My sister-in-law was on a baking spree and baked several types of cookies, but this was my favorite.  All my life I’ve been searching for the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe, one that is delicious, chocolatey and stays soft.  I ate these everyday for about a week and they never got hard!  This was it!!  I asked her…no I commanded her to give me this recipe because I realized that my search had finally come to an end.

I was recently asked to bake some cookies by my super busy sister.  She needed at least 2 types, so I decided to bake these chocolate chip cookies and also a shortbread cookie.  I pulled out my recipe and got straight to work.  Needless to say I ate about half a dozen of these before I finished baking the entire batch.  Guess my dinner tonight will be cookies and milk!
