A few months ago I shared a summer Sangria and now I’m sharing a Fall version since the weather has started to cool a bit. Sparkling wine is mixed with sweet apple cider, spiced rum and crisp apples to give it a quintessential fall flavor. Apple Cider Sangria is a light and crisp cocktail perfect for your fall entertaining. I chose to use sparkling wine instead of using soda or seltzer for carbonation but you can use any white wine and add a bit or seltzer or even ginger beer! Since some apple ciders tend to be very sweet so using a sweetener is optional. I would recommend using a simple syrup (1 cup sugar to 1 cup water) to sweeten, according to your taste.
