There are a variety of places to grab a bite in Atlantic Station.  I began my food crawl at Rosa Mexicano where we they serve Mexican dishes with a modern twist. We were greeted with Guacamole en Molcajete (made at your table) salsa, tortilla chips and a spicy Cucumber Mexican Basil Cocktail with Guajillo Chile Salted Rim.  Atlantic Station (1 of 1)The guacamole was a fresh as it gets and the spicy cocktail was delightful; it was had a just enough heat without being overbearing.   We dined on Poached shrimp over salsa verde served with tomato and cucumber gazpacho and Corn masa empanadas with shredded chicken, Mexican chorizo, Menonita cheese, mestiza crema before saying goodbye to Rosa Mexicano and heading to the next location.IMG_20160504_190832

The next stop on the tour was California Pizza Kitchen.  I was pleasantly surprised by what California Pizza Kitchen had selected for us to try.   We were greeted with a spread that showed the variety that CPK had to offer and that they were more than just pizza.  We dined on a California fields salad with a champagne vinaigrette, watermelon, strawberries, goat cheese and pistachio, Roasted Garlic Chicken sautéed with lemon garlic sauce, fingerling potatoes, Mediterranean herbs and seasonal vegetables, Hearth-roasted wild caught Alaskan halibut with grilled asparagus and butternut squash farro and baby kale. Atlantic Station (1 of 1)-4 Of course we had to have pizza, after all this is what they are known for.  We had the Pear and Gorgonzola which had bosc pears, sweet caramelized onions and hazelnuts topped with field greens in gorgonzola ranch on a thin crust.   It was all amazing; I had no clue that this place had such a variety of dishes.  Atlantic Station (1 of 1)-3We had yet another cucumber cocktail which was a Cucumber Mule that’s made with Veev spirit, fresh lime juice, cucumber and ginger.  I love cucumber drinks so I was in heaven; it was everything a summer cocktail should be, light and refreshing.Atlantic Station (1 of 1)-5

Next on the tour was Chick-a-Biddy where we had light bites.  This was a much needed pit stop and a way to give our tummies a break.  We enjoyed grilled Peri Peri Wings with Cilantro Garlic Sauce, Plantain Chips with Guacamole & Chipotle Hummus and sipped on another cucumber cocktail called Afternoon Delight.  Screenshot_2016-05-17-16-24-57-1_resizedWith full bellies, we made our way the final stop at The Pig and the Pearl.  As though we hadn’t had enough to eat we had quite a spread laid out for us.  With a Red Headed Stepchild cocktail in hand, I sucked down fresh oysters 3 ways, Pimento Cheese Croquettes with pepper jelly and pickled veggie, crunched on Buffalo pork rinds with bleu cheese and smoked chicken wings with a bourbon hot sauce.  Screenshot_2016-05-19-15-27-17-1_resizedWe were given a bottle of the bourbon hot sauce that was on the wings and I’ve been putting it on everything, it is divine!!   The foodie crawl was amazing and showed that Atlantic Station has something to please just about every palate. Thank you to Atlantic Station for allowing this foodie to live her dreams which is to eat, eat, eat.
