A couple weeks ago I was in New York City for a few days to hang with friends and family. I took my 4 year old son to for a summer break and to see his grandmother and aunt. The 5 days that I spent in NYC was way too short as it seemed to fly by in a flash. I barely got to catch up with friends while there as I was busy helping my sister with her outdoor party; luckily I had a 2016 Mazda CX-3 Grand Touring to help carry us around town. My first impression upon seeing the CX-3 was that it was cute. Starting at $24999 the grand touring comes with a built in Mazda Infotainment system with navigation, rear view camera, Bose 7 speakers sound system and an attractive interior;this subcompact SUV has a lot to offer.I drive a big car so I was a big apprehensive about the size but found it quite comfortable to drive and surprisingly spacious, 4 adults can fit comfortably in this car. The size was actually perfect for zipping in and out of the crazy traffic in NYC and the lane departure warning let me know when someone was in my blind spot. This subcompact SUV has excellent gas mileage; I saw an average of over 30 miles per gallon will navigation the streets of New York.
The one downside to this car would be the trunk space; I found it to be quite small and because of that I think this car would be perfect for someone who typically doesn’t carry a lot in their car. I don’t think that this car is designed for families since it is short on trunk space, I couldn’t fit my stroller in the trunk. The small size and handling made it easy to drive. Thanks to Mazda for provide me with the CX-3 and here are some pictures of what I did and ate in NYC.
