Steamed Cabbage and Carrot is a very common side dish that served at Caribbean restaurants. It’s quick, easy and an inexpensive way to add a vegetable side to a meat stew dish. I find that most restaurants don’t focus on the taste and it typically feels like an afterthought. I like to enjoy every component of my food and actually like cabbage and carrots, so why not make it tasty? It only takes a few ingredients to kick it up a notch.
