Get the Recipe FRIED CHICKEN

Ingredients
 

  • 6 chicken pieces
  • 1 tbsp green seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • Flour mix:
  • 1 ½ cup flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried parsley flakes
  • Canola oil

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl season chicken
    legs with green seasoning, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder and onion
    powder. Let marinate for at least hour.
  • In a plate mix flour,
    salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and parsley flakes.
  • Beat eggs and milk together
    in a bowl.
  • Coat seasoned chicken in
    the flour, shake off the excess.
  • Dip into the egg and milk
    mixture; allow the liquid to drip off of the chicken before coating it with
    flour.  Set aside and repeat the process.
  • Heat oil in a large heavy
    bottom pot over medium heat.
  • When oil is hot, add the
    chicken pieces carefully and fry until golden brown on the outside and cooked
    on the inside; this should take about 20 minutes.
  • Remove from oil and place
    on a plate lined with paper towel. 
    Repeat the process until all of the chicken is fried.
