Yield: 6

  • 6 chicken pieces
  • 1 tbsp green seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • Flour mix:
  • 1 ½ cup flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried parsley flakes
  • Canola oil

In a bowl season chicken
legs with green seasoning, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder and onion
powder. Let marinate for at least hour.

In a plate mix flour,
salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and parsley flakes.

Beat eggs and milk together
in a bowl.

Coat seasoned chicken in
the flour, shake off the excess.

Dip into the egg and milk
mixture; allow the liquid to drip off of the chicken before coating it with
flour.  Set aside and repeat the process.

Heat oil in a large heavy
bottom pot over medium heat.

When oil is hot, add the
chicken pieces carefully and fry until golden brown on the outside and cooked
on the inside; this should take about 20 minutes.

Remove from oil and place
on a plate lined with paper towel.
Repeat the process until all of the chicken is fried.
