Fuego Mundo
This months Atlanta Food Bloggers Alliance meet-up was held at Fuego Mundo in Sandy Springs, GA. Organized by Patricia Tinsley, myself and 27 other food bloggers and lifestyle writers stepped away from the superbowl madness for a few hours to dine on a gluten free meal.
Fuego Mundo is a South American restaurant that is 90 percent gluten free. The menu consists of Fresh meats and fish cooked on a open wood grill, latin sides such as yucca fries and black beans and a gluten free carrot cake.
The mission of the day was to select a favorite appetizer, main dish, side dish and dessert. We noshed on a spicy chicken sausage, skirt steak and tilapia all cooked on the wood grill, some slathered in a house chimichurri sauce. They were all very light, fresh and very flavorful.
- A little bit of this, a little bit of that.
We settled down to business and sampled from plantain chips and salsa to quinoa, spanish rice and many more, while sipping on red and white sangria. A great day was had by all, I caught up with old faces and made a few new friends. Enjoy the photos and scroll down for a coupon for free yucca fries and dip. Until next time…
It was so nice to see your pretty face! I had fun!
