Cooks Warehouse-1-2

I was invited to Cook Warehouse at their midtown location to attend a hands-on Holiday cooking class with dietitian Marissa Moore and Sprouts Farmers MarketCooks Warehouse-1-4 Cooks Warehouse-1-5Marisa demonstrated easy holiday appetizers and cocktails; she gave us tips on how to entertain at home by creating simple bites such as her crostini with roasted grapes and a basil and walnut goat cheese and a salmon cake. Cooks Warehouse-1-7  We were treated to a cocktail made with prosecco, pear puree and dices of fresh pears and small bites.  Cooks Warehouse-1-16We then got a chance to step into Cook’s Warehouse state of the art kitchen and create our own.
Cooks Warehouse-1-14I created a pear, prosciutto and goat cheese crostini and a hummus, black olive and rosemary crostini while my blogger buddy Milla of Happily Eating made hers with goat cheese, oregano, balsamic and prosciutto.Cooks Warehouse-1-12  Cooks Warehouse-1-13Sprouts Farmer’s Market which is fairly new to the Atlanta area provided the produce; there are more than 200 locations nationwide. Cooks Warehouse-1-15 Sprouts is all about healthy living for less and believe that “healthy living is a journey and every meal is a choice.” They offer fresh, natural and organic produce at an affordable cost in a friendly famer’s market environment.    We ended the meal with an amazing Maple Ginger Pear Crumble that was amazing!!
