Ingredients
Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

cup
old fashioned oats
2
cups
water
1
cup
milk
1
stick cinnamon
4
whole cloves
A pinch of salt
1
cup
diced apple
ΒΌ
cup
brown sugar
Crushed walnuts
Maple syrup
optional
Instructions
In a pot, place oats, water, milk, cinnamon stick, cloves, pinch of salt and diced apple and stir together.
Place pot over medium heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and allow to simmer for 15 minutes until the apple is tender but not mushy.
Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar. You can also sweeten with maple syrup or honey.
Place into 2 bowl and top with crushed walnuts and a teaspoon of maple syrup.
