BEEF AND BORA

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs top sirloin cut into thin strips against the grain
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 ½ tsp crushed garlic
  • 1 tsp crushed ginger
  • 1 finely chopped pimento pepper red pepper flakes can be used instead
  • 3-4 cups bora cut into 2 inch pieces
  • 1 roma tomato chopped
  • 2 tsp Mazola® Corn Oil
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Marinate beef strips with soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, ginger, and pepper. Set aside for about 10 to marinate.
  • In a pan over high heat add Mazola Corn Oil. When the corn oil is hot add beef and stir-fry for about 3 minutes, then add bora and tomatoes and mix to combine.
  • Cook for an additional 8-10 minutes until the bora is tender.
  • Add salt if needed, then remove from heat and serve with rice.
