I had the pleasure of attending a private Technique Class on grilling at William Sonoma hosted by Tami Reed of Talking with Tami . It was a lovely event where Food Bloggers snapped pictures and listened intently as Chef Maurietta demonstrated grilling a complete meal, dessert included! We were treated to tasting the very dishes that the chef had prepared which was served by the attentive staff of the Williams Sonoma store. First up was a grilled Gazpacho, a cold summer soup that’s made of tomatoes, zucchini, red bell peppers, cucumbers and a blend of herbs and spices. Our main course was a grilled romaine salad with Caesar vinaigrette; yes lettuce can be grilled! The salad was accompanied by a Moroccan inspired grilled chicken, a citrus couscous with currants and roasted tomatoes and sparkling margarita. We closed off the meal with caramelized peaches with Moscato d’ Asti Zabaglione. I mingled with old friends, as well as new while dining on this flavorful menu. To top off the perfect evening there were giveaways where I won an All-Clad Stainless Steel Nonstick 8 inch frying pan!! I was pleased!
