Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies
I had the pleasure of spending the past Christmas holidays with my brother and his family in South Dakota. My sister-in-law was on a baking spree and baked several types of cookies, but this was my favorite. All my life I’ve been searching for the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe, one that is delicious, chocolatey and stays soft. I ate these everyday for about a week and they never got hard! This was it!! I asked her…no I commanded her to give me this recipe because I realized that my search had finally come to an end.
I was recently asked to bake some cookies by my super busy sister. She needed at least 2 types, so I decided to bake these chocolate chip cookies and also a shortbread cookie. I pulled out my recipe and got straight to work. Needless to say I ate about half a dozen of these before I finished baking the entire batch. Guess my dinner tonight will be cookies and milk!

Yeh…thanks for making this for me too. They were soooooo damn good and creamy.
Hi, can’t wait to try this recipe! Question, do I use baking soda or baking powder? The recipe mentions both!
Thanks
Oops..that was mistake, Thank you for spotting that. This recipes has no baking soda, it only has baking powder.
Jehan! Your blog is amazing! I think I make a dish or two a week thanks to u! And they always come out tasty as ever! I made these cookies last night but had a couple questions for the next time I do make em’. Do u use instant pudding or the cooked? I used instant. Also, I gave a friend this recipe and she used a hand mixer. She said her’s came out a little different than my batch. My cookies also looked slightly different than yours. What do u recommend to concoct the perfect replica of your recipe, by hand or mixer? Thanks again! And keep the recipes coming! 😉
Thanks for the kind comment Neil, I’m glad you enjoy my recipes. I used instant pudding and I use a mixer, unfortunately I can’t give you an exact reason because baking is very fickle, results vary based on altitude, ovens and humidity. Sorry 🙁
