PUMPKIN CHILI

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup onions
  • 1 ½ tsp crushed garlic
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 2 – 15 oz cans BUSH’S Pinto Beans in a Medium Chili Sauce
  • 2 oz Chipotle peppers finely diced
  • 1- 15 oz canned pumpkin
  • 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup water
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • In a large pot, add oil and ground beef and cook until beef is browned.
  • Remove from heat and carefully remove excess fat.
  • Add onion and garlic, and cook for about 3-4 minutes, until the onions have softened
  • Add cumin, chili powder, chipotle peppers, crushed tomatoes, pumpkin, BUSH’S® Pinto Beans in a
  • Medium Chili Sauce, water and salt, and stir to combine. Bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer. Cover and cook for 35-40 minutes. Remove from heat and serve warm.
